God spoke to us in 2024 and said that we are to be an academy – a place to train and equip people to bring God’s Kingdom in their day-to-day.
Pneuma Church Bible School is all about encountering God in the Bible and discovering more of who He is and how we can best co-operate with all He’s looking to do in us and through us, bringing transformation to the nations.
What can I expect?
Our aim is that all courses are saturated in the Holy Spirit. After all, He is the one who teaches us all things (John 14:26) and brings the wisdom and life of God. None of the courses are overly academic and we aim to make them accessible to people of all backgrounds and abilities – which means there is a course for you!
The evenings at Bible School always start with worship before moving into the subject matter for the evening, whichever course you’re attending. Many people come early to catch up with friends over a cuppa with the chance to discuss any homework assignments.
Bible School runs on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 – 8:45pm.
What courses do you run?
We have a number of different courses and workshops that run as repeated or one-off. The Foundation Course is our regular and repeated course, guaranteed to run each term and we are looking to increase the variety of courses and workshops in the near future. So if you see a course or workshop that you like the look of, get booked on!*
The Foundation Course
This course is the best starting point and we would love that everyone who considers themselves part of the Pneuma Church Family takes this 12-week course, exploring the foundational pillars of what it looks like to follow Jesus as part of Pneuma Church. The subjects include such topics as, Who is Father God? Worship & God’s Presence, The Bible, Honour, Giving and more.
This course has lots of opportunities for group work, and has proven to be a meaningful time of encounter, growth and relationship building. Whether you’re new to faith, or new to Pneuma Church, this course will challenge your thinking as The Holy Spirit invites us to change and become more like Jesus. Starts 28th April (Cost – Free)
The Cultural Intelligence Course
A 5-week course starting in April 2026 from Field Partner International! In today’s globalised world, understanding and navigating different cultures is crucial. Join Annette Murphy to explore your cultural values, dive into three world views (guilt/innocence, shame/honor, fear/power) and how you can communicate and live alongside people from diverse cultural backgrounds just like Jesus did.
Running from 28th April through to 26th May (inclusive), this is for everyone; come along to unlock new insights into your cultural perspective! (Cost is £25)

Gifts of the Spirit Workshop
A 6-week workshop starting in June 2026 exploring the gifts of the Spirit with David and Joyce Lamb. Running from 9th June through to 14th July (inclusive), this is for everyone; come along to understand, activate and grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit! (Cost is £25)
